The most kind individuals work and run this bakery. The man working the donut counter made special requests for me this morning. Couldn't be happier with the experience. The donuts and scones were fantastic. The cinnamon crunch scone is the MVP. Do yourself a favor and try them out, you will be back.

We ordered 72 cookies for a baby shower. They were delicious and decorated exactly as we requested. The price was extremely fair and we will always use Bakery Nook for our event needs. The owners could not have been nicer and the young lady who decorated the cookies was amazingly talented. Thanks for making our event extra special. Best wishes!

While I have been going to Egypt Star Bakery in Whitehall Pa for decades which has a huge selection of cakes, pies, cookies, kiffles and the best rye and pumpernickle bread on the planet(unsliced)....The Bakery Nook(Egypt,Pa) while not having nearly all the items that Egypt Star has, does indeed have overall BETTER quality dougnuts made fresh right at their bakery and not sent from somewhere else.Their coconut cream and even their jelly filled doughnuts have at least twice the cream and jelly in them compared to Egypt Star, along with several other type of dougnuts that are definitely custom made, bigger and better!Again, their selection is smaller, but whatever they do have is of a much higher quality than other bakeries. The only closest comparison to the Bakery Nook that I have personally seen and tasted was at the Shady Maple farmers market in East Earl,Pa.But Shady is like about 62 miles away from Whitehall,so I do not get their that often. At Shady ,many kinds of crullers filled and unfilled and even dougnuts with bacon on them can be found there. They have a long glass case of baked goods that form a huge L shaped case, along with prepackaged baked goods on the side. So,its all a matte

No longer Barryβs Bakery Nook just The Bakery Nookβ¦β¦. I have been buying donuts and cakes here for years. Iβm all for trial and error but months into new ownership now and all I can say is-it is disappointing for sure. Donuts are no longer fluffy and with a decent amount of icing but totally opposite. Donuts are pretty flat, smaller and little icing. Whereβs the love of donuts? I am here at least once a month if not twice. And although that may not seem like a lot, I drive a distance to get there. At least half hour one way on a good traffic day. Barry use to sell me extra icing and when I did ask the last few times in, it was like I was asking for something unobtainable and free. And the new people put on less icing. Most of the worker bees there are not pleasant at all. With all the goodies there surrounding them, one would think they should be smiling ear to ear. I hope by writing this, they will see the errors of their ways. They bought the original recipe so why not do your best to duplicate. Photo below is of donut purchased today. I wish I had one from when it was Barry owned it so one could compare for themselves. Itβs been several months in a row that I have been going sin
